60 Before 60

The opportunity to begin meeting my goal of 60 new things before I turn 60 began when my husband and I arrived at the airport for our flight home just after I turned 58. The flight was overbooked and the airline was looking for volunteers to wait until the next flight. I had never extended a vacation like this! We took advantage and not only got a better flight experience the next day but they put us up in a hotel and gave us vouchers for future flights, and so the list began!
